TOHO Cinemas Chanter

The Chante Cine opened its doors by Toho Cinemas Ltd. on October 3, 1987 featuring a whole mixture of films. The theater opened with the Italian film “Good Morning Babylon” at Screen 1 and the 1947 American classic, Gregory Peck in “A Gentleman’s Agreement” at Screen 2. A third screen was added inside a former TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System/JORX-TV) studio in 1995.

Renovation closed the theater on June 4, 2005 and reopened on July 9, 2005. On February 2, 2009, it was renamed “TOHO Cinemas Chanter”.

All three auditoriums have one wheelchair each, with 224 seats at Screen 1, 201 at Screen 2, and 190 at Screen 3.
