The Lyric Theatre was the last of three theatres which once operated the town of Dunnellon, the first by 1914 being the Opera House, then the Family Theatre. Finally the Lyric Theatre which had opened by 1941 and closed on July 30, 1966 with Annette Funicello in “How to Stuff a Wild Bikini” & Cary Grant in “Charade”.
