Opened as the Roxy Theatre prior to 1955. By 1972 it was operating as Odeon Theatre with 2 screens, seating 250 and 350 for 600 total seats. Purchased by Babcock Brothers in 1985. By 1988 it had returned to its original Roxy Theatre name.
Closed in 2000, Roxy Home Video located in the lobby in 2003.
Demolished in 2010 for the construction of the Midland Cultural Centre.
North side of the building featured Midland’s first historic mural done by Fred Lenz.

It appears to have opened as the Roxy prior to 1954, and likely as one screen originally. Photos added from 1954, 1955, circa 1972 as Odeon, then back to Roxy by 1988 by which time it was twinned.
