Located in the city centre of Roubaix, to the northeast of Lille. The building was originally the Franco-American Skating Rink, which was also used for dances, and music hall. Films were also being screened here from October 1912. The Casino-Palace was opened on 31st October 1918. There were two entrances to the cinema one at 12 Place de la Liberte and another at the rear at 50 Gran Rue. It suffered damage from a fire in the projection box on 24th January 1934. It was later given an Art Deco style makeover. It was still open in 1965.
In 2022 the Place de la Liberte entrance was in retail use as a Cash-Web store selling comic magazines and character models. The Grand Rue entrance now houses office for Macif insurance.
