The Hall’s No. 2 Drive-In was located a couple of football fields southwest of the Wessinger’s (later Ray’s) No. 1 Drive-In. It also has nothing to be confused with the Hall’s No. 1 Drive-In in West Columbia (which has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
Operated by Harold Hall, the Hall’s No. 2 Drive-In opened its gates on March 12, 1953 with Dan Dailey in “Meet Me At The Fair” along with two cartoons and a newsreel.
The Hall’s No. 2 Drive-In closed for the final time in 1960, as it was short-lived.
It was demolished in the mid-1960’s to make way for Ben Satcher-Harrelson Ford (later known as Ben Satcher Ford, and now known as Jim Hudson Ford), Lexington’s Ford dealership.
