Located in Shotts, Lanarkshire, to the east of Glasgow. The Regal Cinema was opened in June 1939. A feature of its exterior was a square tower on the left of the building. It was equipped with a British Thomson-Houston(BTH) sound system and the proscenium was 22ft wide. It was closed in the 1970’s and was demolished.
A new road named Regal Grove was constructed where the Regal Cinema once stood.
