AMC Northwest 4

One of AMC’s original 3 theatres in Houston, TX opening December 12, 1969 at the now defunct Northwest Mall. Two auditoriums were eventually retrofitted with Dolby Stereo. The theatre closed on September 9, 1990.

It was a Mexican dance club called El Chaparral for a time. The building was demolished as part of the US Highway 290 expansion by the Texas Department of Transportation.
