AMC Northwest 4

One of AMC’s original 3 theatres in Houston, TX opening December 12, 1969 at the now defunct Northwest Mall. The theatre closed in 1992 and was a Mexican dance club called El Chaparral for a time. The building was demolished as part of the US Highway 290 expansion by the Texas Department of Transportation. Two auditoriums were eventually retrofitted with Dolby Stereo.
