Eagle Theatre

The Eagle Theatre was located with its entrance on Court Street at the corner with Reley Street, opposite Journal Square. It was opened on March 2, 1911. The single-story building featured a large, sculptured eagle on top of the facade, above a wide arched entrance.

It was still open in 1929. It was demolished in 1930 and the Paramount Theatre was built on an extended site, with its entrance which is given here at 18 S. Second Street.
