The 200-seat Kozytorium Theatre was opened by 1927. By 1929 it had been renamed Alpha Theatre, retaining the 200-seat capacity until 1943 when the seating capacity had increased to 475-seats. By 1950 it had 500-seats. The Alpha Theatre was still open in 1957.
