AMC Sundial 12

Movie Theatre opened on November 17, 2000 as the Muvico Baywalk 20 with All Stadium Seating. The location has 20 screens with 4,200 seats.

Carmike Cinemas acquired Muvico Theatres in 2013, but kept the name as Muvico Sundial 19 and IMAX. In January 2017, AMC acquired Carmike Cinemas. A few years after, AMC downsize the location to 12 screens (including one IMAX screen) and installed AMC Signature Recliners. It was renamed the AMC Sundial 12.

This is really my favorite movie theater because it’s so fancy and it’s also the closest IMAX Theater near me. The first film i ever saw at that theater was Avatar (2009) in RealD 3D and the first film in the IMAX auditorium was Star wars: The force awakens (2015) in IMAX 3D, Overall the theater stays well and nice however i have one big question: What was the first film to ever shown in the IMAX Digital projectors at this sundial theater?
