Opened by 1926, the 210-seat Nemacolin Theatre was listed as (Closed) in the 1932 & 1933 editions of Film Daily Yearbook. By 1936 it had reopened and enlarged to 400-seats. By 1941 the 450-seat Nemacolin Theatre was operated by the Ideal Amusement Co. chain. It was still open in 1952, but had closed by 1955.
