Located in Wooler, Northumbedrland. The Drill Hall was built in 1914 as a training hall for the 7th Northumberland fusiliers. It opened in 1923 as the New Pavilion Cinema. Seating was on a single floor and there were several rows of wooden benches in the first few rows closest to the screen, with rows of cushioned tip-up seats further back. It was closed as a silent cinema around 1929. It reopened as the Drill Hall Cinema around November 1933 having been equipped with an AWH sound system. By 1944 this had been replaced by a Gyrotone sound system and by 1953 a Western Electric(WE) sound system. The Drill Hall Cinema was closed in September 1961.

Over the years it has been occupied by several business’s and by 2016 it is occupied by Keen-Woods Karpets and Beds.
