Located in the small village of Embleton, 8 miles north of Alnwick, Northumberland. W. Pitt’s Cinema was operating by December 1948. I believe it was housed in what today is the Creighton Memorial Hall, which opened as a working men’s club on 26th October 1903. W. Pitt’s Cinema never made it to listings in editions of Kinematograph Year Books.
