The Bijou Theatre was opened on the 2nd floor of the building on February 2, 1910. It was closed on February 2, 1924 with Peggy O'Day in “The Battalion Buckeroo” & Eddie Lyons in “Seeing Double. It was later demolished and the vacant site in 2018 was in use as a parking lot.
