The town of La Harpe had three silent-era movie theatres. The first opened in 1909. It was joined by the 200-seat Airdome which showed films and mixed in live entertainment in the hot summer months. The Jewell Theatre was opened by F.A. Robinson in 1923 in downtown La Harpe.

Under new ownership, the Jewell Theatre transitioned to sound as the Cozy Theatre. It was still operating as a silent movie theatre in 1931, but had closed by 1932.

Almost certainly somewhere on S Main St. Most likely demolished, but there are some possibilities for a small theater still standing in the decaying village.
