Located in the Clifton district of the city. Owned by the Clifton Grand Spa Hotel (today the Grade II Listed Clifton Hotel), the Clifton Spa Kinema was originally the ballroom/pump room of the hotel. It was opened by 1920 and in August 1920 it was being redecorated. The cinema charged higher prices than others in the area. The Clifton Spa Cinema was closed in 1922 and reverted back to use as a ballroom.

The derelict shell of this building is still standing as of October 2022 the ballroom having closed 47 years ago.
