Located in Kilbirnie, Ayrshire. The Picture House was opened by 1927 when it was operated by the Thomas Ormiston chain. By 1947 it was still in the Ormiston family, operated by H.S. Ormiston. By 1948 it was operated by GP Cinemas. They were still the operators in 1953 when it had been re-named George Cinema and was still open in 1966. It had closed by 1969 and was converted into a garage. It burnt down in October 2008.
