The 1910 Sanborn shows ‘Moving Pictures’ in the western storefront of a very old three story brick commercial building likely constructed around 1860-70.
While this part of the building has a two story extension in the rear, it appears that a wall remained separating the theatre from this portion. The space was a restaurant on the 1901 map. By March 1908 it was operated as a nickelodeon named Hay’s Brothers Amusement Place. Operated by L.M. Hay, it offered 9 shows a day. It had reverted to retail use by 1924.
The structure is well preserved today, and this location had been a BBQ restaurant that appears to have closed by 2020.
