The Goldstream Theatre was opened by Wometco theatres with Richard Harris in “Camelot” on November 15th, 1969. It was split with a wall down the middle on April 20, 1974 and expanded to 4 screens on December 23, 1984 after it was taken over by Tom Moyer Luxury Theatres. It was expanded to 7 screens in early-1985 and sold to Act III on April 30, 1989 who expanded it and upgraded it to 9 screens. It became part of Regal in 1998 and torn down in December 1999, to make room for parking for the new Goldstream 16 cinemas (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures)..

Act III took over the theater on April 30, 1989. However, United Artists originally planned to take over the theater by June 5, 1988 but was immediately scrapped by Luxury before the deadline that April.
