Housed in the former Seth Norwood Shoe Factory Building the Dreamland Theatre opened on Labor Day in 1909 and disappeared from listings in the city directory after 1929.
It was described as Beverly’s “first theatre”.
For an early theatre it had very impressive signage which you can see in the picture I have uploaded.
