This opened as the Opou Theatre. It was renamed the Lou Ana Theatre on February 15, 1948, and closed in 1960.
This article from the Opelousas Daily World of September 19, 2019 has a history of the town’s theaters, and says that the Lou Ana Theatre opened in 1951.
I’ve uploaded a photo of a page from the Opelousas Daily World from August 31, 1950 which contains ads for all the theatres operating in Opelousas at that time.
