Built by A.C. Bennett and opened by D. Lloyd Jones November 29, 1919, and featured a triple bill of “Mickey” starring Mabel Normand, “Out of the Fog” starring the Great Nazimova and “Hearts of the World” starring the Gish sisters.

It became part of the Famous Player chain in the 1930’s. Closed in the 1950’s. It later housed Capital News for 20 years, a thrift store and various retail. Building is still standing as split retail. With So Sweet candy store and a clothing/dress shop as it’s last tenants.
