Mid-Haven Drive-In Theatres, comprised of E.J. Morin and his wife plus Ozzie and Lula Barr, launched the Mid-Haven Drive-In on May 28, 1952. They also operated the Mallets Bay Drive-In. The opening features were John Wayne in “Flying Leathernecks” and Florence Marly in “Tokyo File 212” supported by two cartoons. The drive-in’s original policy included a double feature and change of program three times a week. The theatre had a Snack-a-Teria for refreshments.
The Mid-Haven Drive-In added adult showings at midnight along with its family friendly double-features nightly until apparently closing after the 1971 season.

Approximate address is 680 Dog Team Road, New Haven, VT, 05472. it was still standing in the mid-80’s. Now a private residence, the ramp formations can still be seen. Also it looks like a house was built in the same spot as the concession building.
A closer address is 675 Dog Team Rd Access, New Haven, VT.
Google Maps has updated their addresses and this puts it right in the middle of the property.
