The Lyric Theatre and Oracle Theatre both operated at the same time and same address according to the Rock Springs Historical Museum.
Both theatres were bought out by the REX Amusement company in 1924, who were in turn bought out by Thomas Bertha owner of the Rialto Theatre at 310 S. Front Street, to stop competition. The building was later converted into the Rex Hotel and remains standing.
This Lyric Theatre is not to be confused with the other Lyric Theatre at 405 N. Front Street, which by 1920 became the Paris Cafe'.
