“18 Depot Street is a tax record for a building the Paugus Tribe of Red Men Lodge bought in 1920. They used the second floor for as a meeting hall and operated the Riverside Theatre on the ground floor.” History credit Bridgton Historical Society.
Additionally: “The Riverside Theatre, the second place in town where moving pictures were shown. Dancing followed the movies with “music provided by Mrs. Cook’s Orchestra” from 10-12 p.m. Before the building’s demise it also served as a roller skating rink as well as the headquarters for a summer stock company. The 1932 edition of Film Daily Yearbook listed the Riverside Theatre as (Closed).
