Gloria Kino Centre#3

Located in the city centre. The Gloria Kino Centre was the third cinema in Hannover with the Gloria name (all at different locations). The other 2, Gloria Palast#1 & Gloria Palast#2 both have their own pages on Cinema Treasures. The Gloria Kino Centre was opened in 1974 and was operated by Robert Billerbek. The 3-screens were individually named Gloria, Smoky and Intimes. It was equipped with a pair of DP 70 Phillips projectors for 35mm & 70mm film. A 6-channel sound system was installed. The cinema was closed in 1993. The building was converted into office space.
