Located in front of the main Railway Station in the city centre. The CinemaxX am Raschplatz was opened on 14th December 2000 and was funded and operated by Hans Joachim Flebbe who also runs the Astor Film Lounge chain and some art house cinemas. They have their own pages on Cinema Treasures. The largest screen is in auditorium 1 (size 21.5 x 9.5metres.) In recent years Vue have taken over the CinemaxX chain.
