Opened prior to 1926 on the west side of S. Broadway, in the first block off the public square. Located in the first city hall building. It converted from silent films to talkies in March 1929, showing Nancy Carroll & Gary Cooper in “The Shopworn Angel”.
The Strand Theatre was closed in 1941.
