Moviehouse & Eatery Lantana Place

Moviehouse & Eatery, founded in 2012, opened their second location in Austin at Lantana Place on May 17, 2018.

According to the Austin American-Statesman, it contains 10 screens with seating ranging from 47 to 126 recliners. There is a lobby bar and a created-from-scratch menu is served at all times.

Effective July 26, 2019, it was announced by various media outlets that this location and four other locations, including one under construction in Houston, were being acquired by Cinépolis.

At the time Cinépolis, operating 26 locations in seven states, said no immediate changes would be made to guest policies or personnel and Moviehouse & Eatery would continue to be operated independently.
