Cinemette Corporation of America, based in Pittsburgh, opened this 4-screen multiplex theater in Eastgate Plaza on State Route 30, just east of Greensburg, PA during the week of April 10, 1974. The opening attractions were “The Exorcist”, Walt Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland” paired with the featurette “Stormy”, “The Three Musketeers”, and “Papillon”.
This theater complex should not be confused with the 4-screen multiplex that was opened at Westmoreland Mall in June 1977.
