The Rolf Theatre was opened in 1913. In 1920 it was given an Egyptian style makeover and renamed Rameseum Theatre Following another makeover it was renamed Granada Theatre on February 24, 1933 with George Brent in “The Crash”. It was still open in 1957, but had closed by the late-1950’s.

The Granada Theatre Opened On February 24th, 1933 With George Brent In “The Crash” (1932 First National Pictures Version). It Is Closed In The Late 1950’s.
The Granada Theater was located at 219 W 1st Street (today a parking lot). It was opened by T.G. Bligh and George E. Rolfe as the Rolfe Theater in 1913. They were also the owners of the Globe.
In 1920 a contest was held to rename the theater after it was given an “Egyptian” makeover. From 1920 to 1932 it was the Rameseum.
After another makeover the theater was given the name Granada, and reopened again in 1933.
