The Hamlin Drive-In Theatre was opened by the operators of the Ferguson Drive-In on March 8, 1953 with Gilbert Roland in “Apache War Smoke”. It was located south of town. In the 1980’s, the theatre showed X-rated films in addition to the traditional Hollywood fare.
