Projection Room

Opened in 1937 at 686, Chaussée de Waterloo as the Moliere Cinema, so named because of closeness of the Avenue Moliere in the neighbourhood called Bascule. It continued as Moliere Cinema in the 1950’s and 1960’s with 2 programmes a week, and closed in 1974.

The entrance became a retail named Di, the auditorium was not used. Two young architects decide to revived it. Not viable anymore to be a cinema, the auditorium became an all events place, theatre, rehearsel room, and has its entrance around the corner on Rue du Praetere, 55.
