This 1950’s-era single-screen drive-in was owned by the Tanner family, which also ran the indoor Liberty Theatre in Vandalia, which is still in operation today under different ownership. The drive-in could accommodate about 300 cars and closed during the 1990’s. It was demolished in 1999 to make way for a sub-division.
