Cinematheque was a concept theater opening October 6, 1989 with “Batman”. Sometimes showing art or repertory films and other time major Hollywood hits, Cinematheque was a low-priced cinema. The theatre closed on January 23, 1992 in favor of a new location at 17 Park Street.
