Found It!

The drive-in is east of town, 422 US-60, Clovis, NM 88101, about midway between Clovis and the town of Texico.

Today, Gallery Fifteen and another business sits on the property. You can still see the ramps.

The June 17, 1950 issue of BoxOffice reported, “The Four Lane Drive-In, a 444-car situation, built by John Whipple of Muleshoe, Tex., and Myron Finkelstein of Kansas City, Mo.,” had opened during “the May-June period”.

In a discussion of the drive-ins owned by Lloyd Franklin and W. O. Bearden, the March 21, 1960 issue of BoxOffice wrote, “They bought the Four Lane Drive-In east of town in the fall of 1955 but never did open it.”

Clovis News-Journal, July 4, 1982, in a retrospective: “(W.O. Bearden and Lloyd Franklin) bought the 4-Lane Drive-In Theater between Clovis and Texico about 1958, later selling it to Stuckey’s.”

The former 4-Lane site, later a Stuckey’s, is now “Stickey’s,” a cannabis retailer. Google Maps has its address as 420 US-60 70 84, Clovis, NM 88101.
