Cinema 16

Built as a grocery store in 1954. Richard L. Davis of Davis Theatres / Delta Z Corporation got permission from Waterloo to open a downtown XXX theatre. The Mini-Cinema 16 launched October 16, 1970 with “The Divorcee”. The city of Clinton filed a suit against Davis in January 10, 1971. It still operates as an adult cinema in 2018, now known as Cinema 16.
