Located in the district of Guindalera to the northeast of the city centre. The Cine Victoria was opened on 16th March 1940 with Jessie Matthews in “Viento en Popa” (Sailing Along). Designed in a Streamline Moderne style by architect Don Luis Gutierrez Soto. Seating for 1,375 was provided in orchestra level, which had a raised stepped section at the rear, above which was a balcony. It was originally planned to be named Cine Ronda.
It was closed on 12th January 1995 to be converted into a four-screen cinema. Seating 166, 174, 145 and 201, there was also a bingo parlour and most of the foyer was converted into a MacDonalds restaurant. The facade has now been rendered plain.
The Cines Victoria was closed in January 2018 and was converted into a supermarket.
