Located in Cupar, Fifeshire. Built in 1849 as a Boston UP Church, designed by architect J. Dick Peddie. In 1914 it was converted into the Central Picture House. New operators took over in 1920 and it was renamed La Scala Cinema. The projection box was beneath the balcony in the rear stalls. By 1937 it was operated by the Thomas Ormiston circuit. In 1941 it was taken over by the J.B. Milne Theatres chain and was equipped with a RCA sound system. The auditorium was given an Art Deco style makeover. The La Scala Cinema was closed in 1976. It was refurbished and converted into a bingo club, which closed in 1990. It has since been demolished.
