Opened as the American Theater prior to 1926. In 1948 it became the McCutchen Theater, and is listed in the 1950 edition of Film Daily Yearbook, where the theatre’s name is spelt ‘McCutheon’.

What is going o with the McCutchen now. I went over there several years ago and was interested in buying. Someone told me the roof had completely fell in. I just left. I bought a theater that had severe roof problems and didnt want to go throught that again.
This was the American Theatre, which opened in the late 1920’s.
The American Theatre was open as early as 1926.
