Old movie theatres seem to make ideal office buildings and that is exactly what has become of the old Paramount Theatre. The Paramount was built identical to the Homewood Theatre on 25th Street and opened at the same time.

The theatre opened on October 3, 1946 and operated as a movie theatre until closing on September 13, 1978.

Not sure about the 1978 closing date if it was still listed in the 1981 IMPA.
