A twin-screen cinema located at the edge of the city’s oldest strip center, the Jacksonville Shopping Center. The theatre was operated by circuits including the Rand Theatre Circuit as the Flick Twin Cinema and First International Theatres as the Jax Twin Cinema. First International was bought out by Carmike Cinemas in 1997 which may have led to the end of the theatre. It became the Unique Connection Center which had boxing and tai-chi classes as part of its mix.
