The Twin City Drive-In was opened by Rowley United Theatres on July 15, 1964 with John Wayne in “McLintock!” & Sean Connery in “Dr. No” opening the south screen which is now Kohl’s and its parking lot.
The north screen opened with Rock Hudson in “Man’s Favorite Sport” & Doris Day in “The Thrill of It All”. Today is the apartment complex behind it. Only part of the north outline is visible behind the northernmost apartments.
There were two seated indoor spaces for walk-up patrons which had a total of 112-seats. It was closed in the mid-1980’s.

This opened on July 15, 1964 with “McLintock” and “Dr. No” in Screen 1 and “Man’s Favorite Sport” and “The Thrill Of It All” in Screen 2. It was still open in the mid-1980s. A 1994 aerial view shows the drive-in with both screens still attached but looks like it did receive its closure, and a 2001 aerial view shows half of the drive-in being gutted, with the north side totally gone and the south side attached without its screen but that didn’t last long. The south side was already gutted by two years later.
