Replacing an earlier New Larksville Theatre (1940-1943) on W. Luzerne Avenue which was swollowed by a sinkhole. This New Larksville Theatre was opened December 12, 1945 with Robert Cummings & Lizbeth Scott in “You Came Along”. It was still operating in 1957.
