Located in the Derbyshire village of Chapel-en-le-Frith. The building was originally the Constitutional Hall and was operating as a cinema prior to 1934. It was re-named Regent Cinema from around 1937. The proscenium was 10ft wide and there were two dressing rooms. It was equipped with a British Acoustic(BA) sound system.
The Regent Cinema had closed by 1944. In 2017 it is known as The Playhouse, and is used for live theatre.
