Construction on the Kenmore Drive-In began on Februay 1, 1953, but due to delays, it was not opened until May 20, 1953 when the opening movies were Percy Kilbride & Marjorie Main in “Ma & Pa Kettle at the Fair” & Richard Widmark in Destination Gobi". It likely ran for its entire thirty-year lease cycle. It was demolished in 1985. Coventry Place Condominiums were in the former drive-in’s spots in 2017.
