The Hillcrest Drivie-In was opened on June 4, 1954 with Audie Murphy in “Gunsmoke” & George Montgomery in “Battle of Rouge River”. Now Northoak Crossings Apartments, Domino’s Pizza and Quik Stop. No trace left.
It looks like it was to be a twin Drive-in Theater. In historical aerials from 1960 and 1970, there were additional ramps toward north Oak with a screen foundation in the opposite direction of the one that opened but apparently never opened.
