Fergus Falls Drive-In

The Fergus Falls Drive-In was opened in 1952 when it was operated by the Berger Amusement Co. It was still open in the 1980’s, but had closed and demolished by the 1990’s. The property next to this address which is the American Legion is where the theater stood. The entrance and exit roads as well as several ramps are still there.

The concession building is also still there.

Still operating in the 1980s, but was gone by the 1990s.

Difficult to see if the concession stand/projector booth is still there. But it does look like part of the marquee survived.

Boxoffice, Oct. 27, 1951: “Bennie Berger, whose present circuit comprises 14 conventional theatres … will enter the ozoner field next spring with the construction of a 370-car drive-in at Fergus Falls.”
