Cinema les Stars

In Boulogne-sur-Mer near the North Sea, in the district of Nord pas de Calais. The 7-screen Cinema les Stars was opened in the early-1980’s. It was equipped with new technology, projection 3D, digital projection, programming the new family production and blockbusters, but also art house films. It was closed in 2024 when the 14-screen Cinema Megarama Boulogne-Sur-Mer opened(it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).

One of the oldest cinema in the city was the Kursaal in the main street Rue Victor Hugo which has been closed for a long time (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures as the Royal). The first movie projection in the city was on the site now called Commercial Center Lyane.
