The Hi Way Drive-In was opened on August 8, 1954 with Rod Cameron in “Stage to Tucson”. It was operated by Mount Sterling Amusement Co. & Nelson Ward. Film bookings were by States Booking Services of Cincinnati. It was closed at the end of the 1982 season. Now Back’s Auto Auctions.

The Hiway was still listed in the 1982 IMPA but was gone by the 1984 edition.

It appears that this closed after the 1982 season. It was later converted into a dealership under the name “Back’s Auto Auction” in 1983.
